Faith Team

We are excited to be setting up our new pupil Faith Team at St Joseph’s The team will give children a voice in developing the Catholic life of our school and help us live out our mission: “Love, Learn, Give Your Best.”

Working alongside our RE lead, the children will help prepare and lead prayer, contribute ideas for Celebrations of the Word and support our school prayer box, ensuring the intentions of our community are remembered.

The team will also help develop Prayer Friends—lunchtime opportunities led by older pupils where children can come together to pray, reflect and share a quiet moment. Everyone will be welcome to join in.

Putting faith into action will be an important part of their role. The children will help support charity events, collections and fundraising, including our Harvest Festival and Macmillan activities. Through Catholic Social Teaching, they will encourage others to care for those in need, look after God’s creation and recognise that small acts of kindness can make a difference.

As the team grows, members will listen to other pupils’ ideas and help shape opportunities for prayer, service and celebration. We look forward to sharing their work and seeing them grow in confidence as young leaders of faith.
