PSHE
At St. Joseph's, PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic education) is rooted in our Gospel values and the belief that every child is created in the image and likeness of God. Through PSHE, we support pupils’ spiritual, moral, social, and emotional development, helping them to grow as confident individuals and responsible members of God’s family.
Our PSHE curriculum encourages pupils to show love, respect, compassion, and forgiveness in their relationships with others. Children are taught how to care for their physical and mental wellbeing, build healthy relationships, make positive choices, and understand their responsibilities within the wider community.
PSHE lessons are delivered in an age-appropriate and sensitive way, promoting dignity, equality, and respect for all. We aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment where pupils feel valued, supported, and empowered to live out our Catholic values in school and beyond.
